What is the difference between Yoga and meditation?

Yoga is a regimented course involving ways of life both internally and externally. In addition to physical exercises, behavioural aspects are also part of the Yoga. Lifestyle is a very important part of Patanjali Yoga sutras. Yoga is a multifarious activity. In Yoga, a lot of physical and mental activities are required to be performed. Yoga is a continuous practice and requires some preparations as well. Meditation is quite a different field. Here, you don’t have to do anything while performing meditation. In fact meditation happens best when you don’t do anything.
